French Hunting Short Sword. A very nice example of a French style Hunting Short Sword Trouse (Includes knife and fork) with an ivory grip and original leather scabbard,circa 18th century. It has a 15.75 " etched curved blade with "Pro gloria et patria" in center medallion. Very nice high relief guilded brass shell guard. There is a one piece ivory grip with a hairline crack extending its length. Overall condition is very good.
