Turkish Carnelian Necklace. Late 18th century hand-carved Carnelian, translucent deep orange, semi-precious stone necklace. Comprised of 24 hand-cut and faceted Carnelian round stoned, incrementally sized from smaller to larger, ending with a heart-shaped cut center stone. Restrung with gold filigree woven textile. Largest stone measures over an inch at its widest point; overall length is 20".
