Howard, Oliver Otis (1830-1909) Union general; engaged at Chancellorsville and Gettysburg; commanded the right wing of Sherman's Army in the March to the Sea. Fine. Autograph Letter Signed "O.O. Howard" on a 3½x4½" card, Burlington, VT, 17 Sept. 1897. To Miss Raub, "It is odd how people place me at Brattleboro!…I have never stopped there over night. I think it furnished omnibusses for old New York…." With 10x8" photo.
