1880-CC. Reverse of 1879. PCGS graded MS-66. Frosty and white, the verb eke, as in "eke out," traces to before 1000 A.D., and yet this coin, due to its supreme beauty, won't just eke out a quiet existence. Instead, it will stretch out to find countless bidders far into the future. The sparkling silver luster flares into heavy frostiness in all areas. Pop 722; 89 finer, 59 in 66+, 29 in 67, 1 in 67+ (PCGS # 7100) .
Estimated Value $1,800 - 1,900.
