Lot 995

1928-D Buffalo Nickel. PCGS graded MS-66. A superb well struck gem with delicate pastel toning. Struck with meticulous care by the dies, which as every long-time collector of the series realizes, isn't commonly seen on a 1928-D. An untoned Gem with excellent luster and surfaces that are free from all but the most trivial luster grazes. This is one of the best. Pop 31; none finer (PCGS # 3964) .
Estimated Value $3,000 - 3,500.
