1889-CC Morgan Dollar. PCGS graded AU-55. This coin is untoned and natural in appearance. The surfaces retain some luster and we note very little wear. Moderate handling marks expected from handling, and this example would fit nicely in a mint state collection. Apparently most of the mintage was melted, and Breen estimates that between 1,000 and 3,000 were found in the Treasury hoard which was released in the 1960s. If you are a collector, then you will like this coin.
