Three Miniature Juglets in Black and Colored Glass. Near East, Late Antique to Early Islamic, c. 5th - 8th century AD. Each single-handled, and of oinochoe-like form, with white, red, or yellow zigzags trailed around the black bodies. Typically these are considered pendants, but two are large than usual, and could conceivably have contained a small amount of a high value scented oil or the like. Some spots of rough surface, but overall they're nice. Heights: 7/8" - 1-3/8". Lot of 3 items.
