Lot 98

1806 C-2 R4 Small 6 with Stems PCGS graded XF40. Glossy medium brown and light chocolate delicately mixed with a few small puffs of reddish brown tones on the obverse. No roughness or verdigris, only trivial contact marks. A miniscule rim bruise off the lower end of the hair ribbon may help identify this piece. MDS, Manley state 2.0, with die clashmarks at RT in LIBERTY but no die cracks. The fields on the reverse are slightly reflective. A nice example of this important "Redbook" variety. Our grade is VF35. The attribution and Green Tree Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 2; 6 finer for the variety. Estimate Value $3,000 - UP
