Appointing Thomas Gordon, Esq. to the position of Captain of the Sixty-seventh Regiment of Foot commanded by Colonel Hamilton Lambert. Lord Sandwich provided the inspiration and financial backing for Captain James Cook who named the Sandwich Islands (Hawaii) after him. Vellum worn around edges, affecting George III's signature.
