1793 Flowing Hair Cent. Chain reverse, "AMERICA" in legend. . S-4, R-3+. Fine-15. Slightly sharper with very fine granularity covering the surfaces. No verdigris and just a few light scratches, including two on the portrait around the ear and a smaller one on the lower part of the neck, plus another below AMERI on the reverse. Slightly glossy dark steel brown. The date and obverse periods are clear, and the legends are complete. The reverse chain is bold. Not perfect but still an attractive, nicely detailed example of this popular variety (PCGS # 1341) .
