Lot 942

1793 C-3 R3. Good-4. Glossy olive and chocolate brown. The surfaces are decent but not perfectly smooth, and there is a thin planchet lamination void slanting across the lower right part of the obverse. This thin fissure passes through the 3 in the date affecting the lower half of that numeral, but the rest of the date is easily readable. The legends are complete but not strong. The only contact mark of any significance is a nick or planchet chip in the leaves below the first T in STATES. Overall a very acceptable example for the grade.
Estimated Value $1,000 - 1,500.

Realized $1,553
