1788 Massachusetts Cent Ryder 1-D Rarity-3. NGC graded AU-50 Brown. Variety with a period following MASSACHUSETTS. Attractive glossy chocolate brown. The only defects are a few small planchet chips at EA in WEALTH and on the final S in MASSACHUSETTS, all as struck. Otherwise the surfaces are smooth and free of any notable flaws. Nicely struck with a strong date and legends.
