Historic Apollo-Soyuz US-Russian Space Link-Up. The Apollo-Soyuz Test Project (ASTP) conducted in July 1975, was the first joint U.S.-Soviet space flight, done as a symbol of the new relationship of détente between the US and the Soviet Union. On the American side Tom Stafford was in command. It involved the docking of an Apollo Command and Service Module with the Soviet Soyuz 19 Capsule. This is a professionally built plastic model. It is in mint condition. Scale is 1/96. The length of the connected Module and Capsule is 8 1/4 inches, at a height of 6 inches on its stand. Estimated Value $300 - UP
