Vintage United Airlines Viscount Travel Agency Display Model. The Viscount is the world's first medium-range turboprop airliner first flown in 1948 by Vickers-Armstrongs. This aircraft was powered by the Rolls-Royce Dart turboprop. This impressive early 1950s aluminum display model was restored in the 1990s. It is practically in mint condition, except for very minor cracks on the top rear fuselage. The original acrylic propeller disks were replaced with newer disks. They were made to represent the model in flight.
The wing span is 23 1/2 inches, length is 20 inches, and height 10 inches. Comes with a plastic stand. Estimated Value $1,000 - UP
