1652 Massachusetts Pine Tree Shilling. . Noe-11 Rarity-4. Fine-15. Slightly sharper but there are a couple fine hairline scratches on both sides. Otherwise smooth and free of defects. Glossy dark steel gray with lighter silvery gray highpoints, the contrast accenting the details and adding to the eye appeal. The pine tree is bold and the legends are clear except for weakness at the right edge of the obverse and left side of the reverse. All the N's in the legend are backwards, and the H is missing in MASATVSETS. Weight 69.8 grains.
