Russian Lacquer Boxes: Four Fine Examples of Russian Decoupage with Hand Painted Gilt Gold Scroll Work. Four examples of Russian lacquer and decoupage wood boxes from Fedoskino. All boast wonderful images from the 19th Century; three with images of rural townsfolk, one of two ladies of means all in their finery and all works by Russian painters. The four boxes boast hand painted gold gilt trim and scroll work to top edges of lids as well as the sides of the boxes. Three of the boxes are 1½ x 4 x 5½" and one is 1½ x 3¼ x 6½" and all in mint condition. Estimated Value $250 - UP
