1832 N-3 R1 Large Letters. PCGS graded MS-65 Brown. Choice lustrous medium brown and steel with tiny peeps of faded mint color showing on both sides. Excellent eye appeal and only a few trivial marks. The notable ones are a microscopic planchet flake near the dentils over star 5 and two specks of darker toning under the ribbon end. MDS. Called MS63 and tied for CC#4 honors in the Noyes census, his photo #56023. Our grade is MS63 as well. The attribution is noted on the PCGS label. And it comes with an important provenance. PCGS population 1; 1 finer in 66. (PCGS # 37009) .
