Lot 77

1804 C-10 R1 PCGS graded MS61 Brown. Very attractive glossy medium steel brown and light chocolate. Satiny flowline luster shows in the fields and protected areas and this piece offers mint state eye appeal. The only marks are some faint hairline scratches on the portrait, and these are barely visible under magnification. The best identifying mark is a very shallow planchet flake on the rim over the right side of the B in LIBERTY, as struck. LDS, Manley state 3.0 late. The die crack through the R in AMERICA is bold and there are no traces of dentils on the reverse. Our grade is AU55. The attribution and Green Tree Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 1; 10 finer for the variety. Estimate Value $800 - UP
Ex Richard Gross 9/5/2004-The Green Tree Collection.
