1849 N-14 R3. PCGS graded MS-63 Brown. Glossy chocolate and steel with frosty luster showing in protected areas on both sides. A splash of darker olive and steel toning at star 6 and a carbon spot under the E in UNITED are the only notable defects. LDS, die state d. The die crack at RI extends into the dentils over the adjacent E and weakly to top of the C. Called AU50 and tied for CC#18 in the Noyes census, his photo #55113. Our grade is AU50. The attribution and Naftzger provenance are noted on the PCGS label.
