Lot 745
1848 N-17 R1 AU50. Sharpness close to mint state but there are a few minor marks. These include a spot of very fine carbon in the field over star 10, a few barely visible contact marks on the bust above the 8, and a small nick in the field off the chin. Glossy reddish light chocolate brown fading to olive brown in the field behind the portrait. E-MDS, die state b. Repunching on the 4 is clear but it is no longer visible on the other 3 digits of the date.
