1846 N-2 R2 Small Date, Repunched 1 NGC graded MS65 Brown. Lustrous light bluish steel. A very attractive cent that has satiny surfaces that are nearly flawless. The notable marks are two small, very shallow low spots near the hair below star 7 and another near the dentils below star 13. MDS, die state c, with die cracks on the reverse but no rim cuds. The repunching left of the peak and base of the 1 is clear. Our grade is MS62, tied for CC#9 in the Grellman census.
