Amazing, Long-Legged Extinct Ant in 100 Million Year Burmite Amber. This beautiful exceptionally clear 21 x 16 mm honey colored Burmite Amber cabochon features an 5mm long extinct species of ant that is very unusual looking with very long legs and very long antennae. There are also a couple of small insects. This unusual looking ant is most likely an extinct species from 100 million years ago that has not yet been named. Presented in a 8 x 6" Riker mount with an enlarged photo of the ant. Estimate Value $500 - UP
