Lot 70

1804 C-7 R4 Spiked Chin PCGS graded F15. Rather glossy olive brown and steel. The surfaces are smooth and this piece offers nice eye appeal for the grade. No roughness or verdigris, and the only notable marks are a pair of tiny punch marks hidden in the curls left of the shoulder and a dull scratch hidden in the hair right of the ribbon. Extremely rare M-LDS, Manley state 6.0. The cud break at OF-A clearly touches the top of the O and F but not the A. The Spiked Chin feature is obvious. A nice example of this die state in spite of the minor marks. Our grade is F12. The attribution and Green Tree Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 2; 9 finer for the variety. Estimate Value $800 - UP
Ex Bowers & Merena 11/15/2007-The Green Tree Collection.
