1786 New Jersey Maris 18-M Rarity-1 "Bridle" Variety PCGS graded VF20. Type with a large shield. Glossy medium brown and steel with chocolate toning in protected areas. No roughness or verdigris, only a few dull nicks in the obverse fields, none notable. The date is complete and easily readable although not strong and the "Bridle" feature is clear. Struck with the obverse slightly misaligned to K-4.5. The "Bridle" feature is noted on the PCGS label. Listed on page 69 in the "Redbook."
