1837 N-13 R2 Plain Hair Cord AU50. Lustrous steel brown and medium chocolate woodgrained on the reverse with slightly darker olive brown tones. Satiny mint frost covers the fields and protected areas on both sides. Close to AU55 but there is a small spot of very fine carbon in the field above the inner hair bun. E-MDS, This is the plate coin for the variety in John Wright's "The Cent Book."
