1837 N-4 R2 Plain Hair Cord AU55. A sharply struck piece that was dipped long ago and allowed to retone a frosty bluish steel with faded artificial red in protected areas, especially on the reverse. The only marks are a tiny planchet flake at the dentil tips left of star 2 and another in the dentils under the end of the wreath stem. M-LDS. The left tip of the I in UNITED is faint, nearly gone due to die wear.
