Lot 67

Andy Warhol Signed Marilyn. Not everyone can afford an original Warhol serigraph of Marilyn Monroe, arguably his most popular pop culture subject. But this particular piece hangs in the Museum of Modern Art "Marilyn from Ten Marilyns" painted in 1967. But Warhol has autographed quite boldly a post card from the museum and it is as perfect as anyone could hope for. Warhol autographs are so frequently forged and buyers must be vigilant. This piece has been authenticated by James Spence & Associates with a full LOA

7 x 5" and virtually mint. Absolutely prime for framing. Estimated Value $1,000 - 1,500

Realized $2,400
