Collection of Very Fine Antique Crystal, Porcelain and Sterling Silver Pieces. Nice collection of antique pieces. 1.)Sterling silver and crystal cruet by Birch and Gaydon, London, with lovely repousse design of an 18th Century couple in their home on one side, in the garden on the other. 6 x 3 x 3" in excellent condition. 2.) Especially nice sterling silver and crystal dual condiment bowl etched with delicate and intricate foliate design 4 x 6 x 6" stamped sterling with British marks. 3.) Crystal jam jar with Watson Sterling Silver lid ("R" engraved on lid) 4 x 3 x 3". 4.) Two pair (4 total) salt/pepper shakers from Empire Sterling, glass tube lining, weighted bases. 5.) Pair of short sterling silver candlesticks by Royal Danish 4½" in height weight reinforced. No cracks, chips or repairs on any of the pieces, lip of one candlestick dinged, hardly of note. Troy ounce weight modest (about 10 ozt) in that the shakers weighted and candlesticks moderately reinforced between cup and base. Finally a beautiful early 20th century cabinet plate decorated by the Volkstedt – Rudolstadt firm founded in 1908 of Ackermann & Fritze. This factory was known for producing high quality luxury porcelain in the Royal Vienna, Meissen and Sevres manner in a particular decorative style reminiscent of Renaissance paintings complimented with gilding and elaborate border designs. Beehive (shield) raised on verso. Almost all Royal Vienna porcelain was meant primarily for display. 9½" in diameter. Estimate Value $500 - UP
