Lot 659
1801 S-218 R5+ 3-Error Reverse G5. Several points sharper but the surfaces are covered with fine roughness, strongest in protected areas. No verdigris, and the only notable marks are some nearly horizontal hairline scratches hidden in the toning on the portrait. LDS, Breen state II, with obvious swelling at RTY and left of the date. The date and legends are complete and easily readable (except for RTY due to the die failure in that area), and all three of the die-cutter errors on the reverse are clear. Not perfect but quite decent for the grade. Value $750 - UP
