Lot 654

1927-S Liberty Standing Quarter Dollar. PCGS graded AU-58. A rarity in this grade, and seldom offered. This date boasts a mintage of 396,000 in all, quite a bit smaller than the 1909 S. V.D.B. cent! Note the lustrous white fields and pleasing appearance. Certainly worthy of a mint state collection and worth considering. Trivial wear on the high points, and with about half of Liberty's head showing, including a couple of the leaves in her crown, but weak on her ear. This is a downright impossible date to locate much better, and far more expensive if you do! An opportunity.
Estimated Value $2,000 - 2,500.

Realized $3,450
