Vintage US ARMY AIR FORCE AN-H-15 Flight Helmet & Lined Leather Flying Helmet. Two vintage WWII era helmets. First helmet introduced as the standard summer flying helmet for both the Army Air Force and the US Navy in April of 1943, the AN-H-15 Flight Helmet was the first flying helmet designed under the joint Army/Navy Procurement Program. and manufactured by the Joseph Buegeleisen Company. Superior condition with chin strap. Also offered is a WWII Army Air Force Leather Flying Helmet (wool lined) with partial chin strap. In very good condition, leather remains quite supple. $200 - 300
