Lot 633

1828 N-6 R1 PCGS "Genuine". Frosty olive brown and steel with underlying very faded red showing through, especially on the reverse, most likely from an old cleaning. No defects and the eye appeal is excellent. Nicely struck MDS with a faint die crack from the bust tip to star 1 in addition to the always-present tiny lumps on the obverse from fine die rust. Our grade is mint state sharpness net AU55.
Estimated Value $350-UP.
Ex Chris McCawley 9/1997-Evan Kopald, McCawley & Grellman Auctions/Goldbergs 1/31/2010:441.
