George Jessel. Six 8 x 10 in. negatives, five accompanied by a positive copy (a positive copy is basically a xerox copy made with the sole purpose of showing what the negative images look like; photographic prints can be made from the negatives), and one photographic print of Jessel wearing a hat and inscribed and signed in the plate. Also includes a negative with ten individual images. George ("Georgie) Jessel (1898-1981), was an American illustrated song "model," actor, singer, songwriter, and Academy Award-winning movie producer. He was often called the "Toastmaster General of the United States," for his frequent role as the master of ceremonies at political and entertainment gatherings.
