Transport Order From Zgierz, Poland. An "Illness Sheet" for F--- Wilde of Zgierz, who was diagnosed with the grippe and bronchitis on 30 Dec. 1940, expected to "end" on 6 Jan. 1941, 1p (front and back), 11¾x8 in Stamped and signed by Dr. R. Haus. In German. One stamp on the front and one on the back from Zgierz Railroad Station, which is rare. On the back is a " Transport" stamp circled in red pencil and with a red exclamation point added. Six other stamps below include "Littmannstadt Ghetto Administration" stamps, "Reichsbahndirektion Polen" stamp dated 12 Jan. 1941, and others. This page has several edge chips and tears.
