Lot 587

1819 N-9 R1 Small Date. NGC graded MS-63 Brown. Lustrous light steel brown with reddish tan faded down from mint color in protected areas. Nearly 10% of the planchet displays some of the faded mint color. Sharply struck and quite attractive with only a few trivial marks. These include a couple faint vertical streaks of darker steel toning on the portrait and a thin nick in the field between star 3 and the tip of the nose. EDS. The dentils are crisp and the repunching on the R in AMERICA is very sharp. Our grade is consistent with the slab grade.
Estimated Value $600-UP.
