1803 C-4 R4 NGC graded AU50. Frosty medium steel and olive brown with lighter brown in protected areas. Satiny mint luster shows in protected areas on both sides. No roughness or verdigris, only light contact marks. The notable marks are some faint hairline scratches in the field before the portrait, none visible without the aid of a strong glass. MDS with an unrotated reverse. The fine repunching under the left side of the first 0 in the denominator is clear and the die clashmarks on the reverse are sharp. Our grade is net EF40. The attribution is noted on the NGC label. Estimate Value $2,000 - UP
