Billie Burke and Ivor Novello. Three photos, 11 x 14 in., signed in the plate by photographer Herbert Mitchell at lower left. Two photos are of stage and film star Billie Burke (1884-1970) and composer, actor, playwright Ivor Novello (1893-1951). In 1930, the two appeared together in the very successful play "The Truth Game," written by Novello. The third photo is of Miss Burke alone; it is framed to 14¾ x 17¾. She is best known today for her role as Glinda the Good Witch of the North in the 1939 movie The Wizard of Oz.
