Roman Monumental Green Glass Carafe. Ca. 2nd-3rd century A.D. Height: 12". Opaque green glass, symmetrical body, flared rim over a long cylindrical neck, and entirely ornamental by horizontal incised ribbing. Delicate natural shades of iridescence further add to its eye-appeal. In perfect condition! Huge glass vessels on this scale are quite rare. An impressive stand-alone piece.
