1798 S-166 R1 Style II Hair, Large 8 EF40. Ten points sharper but there are small specks of verdigris scattered over the upper half of the reverse while the rest of the planchet is choice. Lustrous chocolate brown and dark steel. MDS, Breen state IV. There is a lump on the E in UNITED extending down below the base of that letter, and the reverse is rotated 40 degrees CCW. Called net EF45 by Bland.
