1798 S-159 R3 Style I Hair, Small 8 PCGS graded VF25. Slightly glossy medium brown with small areas of darker chocolate brown toning on both sides. No corrosion or verdigris, but there are some nicks scattered over both sides. The only significant one is a long, thin nick close before the nose. MDS, Breen state VI. The die crack through the top of LIB is clear and the vertical die cracks in the field behind the portrait are strong. The reverse is now rotated 45 degrees CCW. Our grade is VF20 sharpness net F12+. Pop 2; 1 finer in 40.
