Two (2) Outstanding Carved Shell Cameo Brooches: The Abduction of Helen of Troy and Khloris, Goddess of Flowers. Two stunningly beautiful cameos, some of the best we have had in some time. 1. The most striking cameo is the larger of the two, "The Abduction of Helen of Troy" bosting incredible detail and highly carved relief. From the story of Homer's classic epic poem, "The Iliad". Brooch 2½ x 2¼" with straight pin back on verso set in a 10K white gold bezel. Perfect condition, superb crafstmanship. 2.) Also from ancient times Khloris, the Greek Goddess Nymph of Flowers is featured in this lovely cameo, 2¼ x 1¼" and can be worn as a brooch but also has a loop on verso so can be worn as a pendant.
