To Laura Marrs, "…I am very glad that you & your party are all well & will be in Scarboro this next summer…the cottage…looks very nice there at present. There are two partridge nests within 300 feet of it. One with 11 eggs & one with at present only 6. When they each get 12 they will commence business for 20 days & you may yet see them if the cats & boys let them alone…."
