Neumann, Karl. The Cove. Oil on canvas, 15¼ x 11½ in. (visible), signed in oil at lower right, framed to 21 x 17 in. Depicting a small boat in a cove, a lighthouse behind it, and seagulls circling above. Neumann (1891-1985) was a German artist known for painting beach scenes, seascapes, and farm landscapes.
