Yuan Style Tripod Censor and Flambé Glazed Bowl. Two examples of nicely done Chinese pottery in the style of the Yuan Dynasty. First a tripod censor with clawed feet in a striking purple glaze and adorned with what appear to be a pair of jaguars in relief and extended handles. Inside the censor is glazed in a lovely antiqued sky blue. Piece measures 8" x 7" x 7". The second is a shallow bowl with jaguar head handles, heavily glazed in a deep burgundy with a flambé grey glaze around the lip of the bowl. Piece measures 3½" x 11" x 11". Both are in excellent condition and would make for beautiful accents in any decor.
Estimated Value $300 - 400.
