Diadumenian, 218 AD, as Caesar. AR Denarius. Scarce. Bare headed, draped, and cuirassed bust of Diadumenian right. Reverse: Diadumenian stands frontal, looking right, holding scepter and standard, two standards at right. RIC 102a; C. 3. A trifle softly struck, with lamination spot in field, but with charming, delicate portrait. Old collection toning, a soft matte gray with iridescent luster underneath. Extremely Fine.
