1802/0 C-2 R3 Overdate 2 over 0, Reverse of 1803 VG7. Several points sharper but the obverse is covered with very fine roughness under a glossy olive brown and reddish chocolate patina. The reverse is smooth and the toning is a more uniform glossy medium olive brown and chocolate. No verdigris, but there are some old scratches on the portrait, all hidden in the natural patina. The date and legends are all strong except for parts of HALF CENT, which are weak. The overdate feature is obvious. E-MDS, Manley state 2.0. Estimate Value $900 - UP
