Tiberius, 14-37 AD. AR Denarius, Lugdunum mint. "Tribute Penny." Choice example, on nice round flan. Laureate head right. Reverse: Livia (as Pax) enthroned right, holding long scepter and olive branch; plain legs to chair. RIC 30; BMCRE 48. Portrait in bold relief, well struck up and handsome. Reverse finely detailed and exceptional for the series. Good metal, with artistic toning. Extremely Fine.
