Harry Blackstone Sr.: Exceptional Vintage Original Sepia Double Weight Photo Signed and Autographed Caricature on Ace of Hearts Card (1885-1965) The Great Blackstone was the last of the elegant stage magician and illusionist, dressed in white tie and tails, barely engaging the audience letting the music and attending performers and illusions carry the show. Towards end of his lengthy and highly successful career he donated the lightbulb made for him by Thomas Edison to the Smithsonian for his "Floating Lightbulb" trick as well as his Casadega cabinet for his "Dancing Handkerchief" illusion.
For collectors of magic, two very fine pieces:

Early double-weight sepia tone portrait photo 9 x 7" in pristine condition. In lower corner in black fountain pen ink he has written Harry (not stamped)
Autographed caricature January 17, 1964 boldly executed still in his excellent and steady hand. 3½ x 2½" and in superior condition. Estimated Value $800 - 1,200
From the Collection of Mark Rofeh.
