Late Archaic, 3000 - 1000 BC Large Etley Spear. Stanton, Franklin Co., Missouri. Etley Points are closely associated with the Titterington Phase of the lower Illinois Valley and is often found in association with the Wadlow, Smith, Sedalia and other contemporary types of point. The present example was expertly knapped from Burlington chert and boasts a fine patina, 5 5/16 x 1 3/8 inches with collector's inscription, provenance label and Jerry Dickey COA. $700 - 1,000
