Bruttium. Croton, c. 530 BC. AR Nomos (7.9 g). Delphic tripod, with ring handles and lion's paw feet; ethnic at left. Reverse: Incuse of tripod. Basel 194; Dewing 493 var. Attractive old toning; light graffito at obverse right. Flan a little ragged, with flan flaw at left, nevertheless archaic design bold, balanced, and elegant. Fine or better.
